The BSF Retreat Centre is situated amidst the soaring canopies of Hulu Langat Forest Reserve, surrounded by lush green hills at an altitude of 320 meters above-sea-level. Its unspoilt environment with sceneries of cool, pure mountain air at a mere 30 km from Kuala Lumpur city centre is a sanctuary for Meditation Practice, Education Retreat, integration of the Practice of Buddhadharma, and realization of Buddhasasana.
Apart from the annual routine Group Retreats, Intensive Meditation Retreats, and International Youth Camps conducted under the auspices of Viriyachan Monastery, BSF also co-host or support other Meditation Retreats, Theravada and Mahayana Classes organised and conducted by other teachers from both Theravada and Mahayana sects.
本禅修中心地理位置离开吉隆坡市中心约30公里，坐落在雪兰莪州乌鲁冷岳县的翠绿山岭，海拔320公尺，周遭被连绵起伏的群山及山野林莽缘依环绕着，环境清幽，景色秀丽，是一个远离喧嚣尘世，沐浴在大自然的禅修中心、培训场地及修行场所。
除了参禅共修、精进禅七、国际青少年潜能开发禅修营等由百丈山僧团主持的例行活动之外，本中心亦护持、联办由其他南传、北传正信佛教团体所举办、主持的禅修、佛学课程活动。
